Utah Anger Class Online is the premier program to help those looking for help in controlling their angry behavior. The goal of our courses is to provide easy access to the fundamentals of how to best regulate emotions by teaching new skills to express these feelings in a more acceptable way.

Anger Is Normal

Anger is a normal human emotion that is caused by a perceived loss of control. The results are feelings of frustration, hurt or resentment. We are not getting what we want out of a person or situation and our temper flares. When an individual is able to manage their anger in an honest, open and non-aggressive manner, a high conflict discussion can actually produce effective and positive results. However, if you are unable to control your reaction and your judgment becomes foggy, your stress levels skyrocket, you break into a sweat and/or you become accusatory, then it’s time to review your behavior.

Anger management is often learned from role models during one’s childhood. If you grew up in an environment in which it was acceptable to scream, yell, or hit, then there’s a good chance that this is all you know. The good news is that you have the ability to control your reactions to respond to conflict in a more positive way. You can change the direction your life is taking by learning new skills to control your responses.

We can also tailor a class to meet your specific requirements. If you are taking an anger class to satisfy a court mandate, we suggest getting prior approval from the judge, probation officer or your attorney to take a distance-learning course. The reason for this is that every case is different and there are certain situations in which a judge will want an offender to take an in-person class.

Certificate of Completion Included

After you pass the final exam, we will send the official Certificate of Completion to any address you designate and at no additional cost. This is the documentation that the court requires to prove you fulfilled the requirement. If you are under a time constraint, we can also make the certificate available to download per your request. Other expedited shipping choices are available at additional cost.

Refund Guarantee

We have had clients complete our programs throughout cities like Kaysville, Midvale, Bingham, Ogden, Layton and Farmington. If for any reason, you take our class and the judge doesn’t accept it, we offer a 100% refund. Simply fax, email or mail us the courts written proof of decline within 60 days and we will credit your card back in full.

Anger Management Issues in the Beehive State

In 2012 a Gallup national poll rated Utah to be the “best state to live in” based on a variety of lifestyle, economic and health-related issues. It’s the 13th largest state and the 34th most populous, the majority of which live in the surrounding areas of Salt Lake City. About 63% of residents belong to the LDS Church, which also makes it the state that gives the most money towards charity (the LDS Church). In addition, recent research from the Corporation for National Community Service shows that Utah is rated #1 in the country for volunteerism. 47.7% of adults report volunteering verses the national average of 26.5%. However, not everything is perfect. Utah also ranks as one of the highest states in the country for divorce. This is generally attributed to the fact that the Mormon religion puts a strong emphasis on getting married and Utahans tend to get married 2 years younger than the rest of the country. The pattern is often for the young man to go away on mission and then come home to get married and have kids immediately. Research shows that marrying younger is the highest risk factor for divorce. Also, men and women who are both college educated are more likely to stay married than those with lower education levels. One way to try to get your marriage back on track is to take anger management classes to learn effective listening and communication skills, empathy and stress management techniques.

Bullying in the Beehive State as well as elsewhere in the country is a very hot topic. In 2011, Utah’s Governor Herbert signed a new anti-bullying law that went into effect in schools in September 2012. This bill expanded the definition of bullying to include cyber or online intimidation and threats. This was put to the test and implemented this past Fall when Roosevelt’s Union High School Football Coach suspended all of his 80 players from the team due to reports of disrespect, low grades and cyber bullying. Anger Class Online also offers a course specifically for adolescents and teenagers to address bullying behavior.

Utah Client Testimonial

“My ex-wife has dragged me back to court over and over again these past couple of years in an attempt to reduce the amount of time I can see the kids. This last time I had to take an anger management class and this was great! I didn’t have to miss any work and was able to get my 12-hour requirement done in a weekend so I didn’t miss time with the kids. I highly recommend Dr. Novick’s program!” Justin L – Salt Lake City, UT
